UNMATCHED

I’ve long held firm to my belief that a surfer’s only asset is the content they create. Maybe that’s why we see the largest content creators thriving the most in the surf world. Sure, they work a lot, but is it really work? Admittedly, JOB seemed like he was running out of steam for a minute, but he’s regained a bit of his pulse with the new podcast. It’s not bad.

With too much content to lay your eyes (or ears) on, you’ve got to choose where you spend your time. Believe it or not, where you decide to spend your screen time relegates some of the money in our industry. For this reason, I try my best to watch some lesser known surfers and projects. There are a few bigger channels that I am subscribed to, however, and it’s for good reason; they create good content. Ho & Pringle Productions is at the top of the list.

Mason Ho’s long been seen as ‘your favorite surfer’s favorite surfer’. He’s got the talent in the water, the lifestyle out of the water, and a personality that’s imitated world wide. He’s a fantastic character. His stories are incredibly animated, and his passion is unmatched. It all makes for fantastic viewing. Even while dropping at least one video per week, I still feel like I can’t get bored of watching his videos.

Most of his vlogs are pretty lengthy – that’s one of my favorite parts about it. Not just surfing, not just commentary. It’s a solid behind the scenes into Mase’s mind. So this full video he just dropped is about double the length of one of his vlogs, and it’s really good. Pumping waves, a good batch of feature surfers, really stylish, high performance surfing. All around sick. If you haven’t seen it yet, watch IND HO NESIA The Surf Movie below. It’s quite the surf amp. Have a look at that fucking slob grab Mason does while riding in the bowl, backside. Just rad. Thanks Mason, keep it up.

Cheers,
