Week Of 1/6/25 – 1/12/25
I know, I know. Few days late. And I really didnโt kill it last week either. You see, when you look up things like โhow to grow my blogโ or โhow to get followers on social mediaโ the consistent key that Iโve seen is, well, consistency. That, and providing meaningful content. Something informative, entertaining, useful, just basically not a waste of time.
How am I supposed to do that when surfing is basically a giant waste of time? What do we do? What do we provide? What do we create?
Entertainers, you say? If you insist.
Let me know how entertained you are this week.
WAVES
The week has started off slow. There is swell in the water, but itโs a really steep angle. You need to find a magnet that can reel it in. Generally speaking, Iโve seen areas North of myself getting most of the attention. Jacob Szekely did throw a reaching comment out on Instagram when he said he had the โday of the decadeโ at a local San Diego Slab. So there is that.
Tomorrow (Thursday) looks like it might be the worst day of the bunch. Today (Wednesday) was small, but definitely surfable. The Santa Anaโs kept it beautifully groomed all day.
Through the weekend weโll see another swell building, an interesting angle again, WSW. It should come with some size starting to show on Friday Night, peaking on Sunday just after noon. Iโm interested to see what areas light up for this one. Weโve had a range of swells roll through, so my database is slowly building.
