Happy New Year. Welcome to another post you are probably wondering why you are reading. I appreciate your time and support, sincerely.
The original idea I had when starting this blog, for the most part, is completely out the window. I had big expectations for the whole thing. I was yearning to do something special, and I’ve found myself trying much too hard to create content. In long consideration, I have decided to let loose.
As of now, there are officially no real plans, goals, or forecasts for what this site is to become. All I know is I want this to mean more than an average social media profile or post. I wish to provoke thoughts and emotions, memories and discussions. I don’t want to be scrolled through, liked and shared. I’d prefer to be sipped, enjoyed. Rolled tight and burnt slow.
With that, I’d like to share a few photos I’ve taken around town recently, within the last year. You can find those here. I hope you’ve scored some waves. As terrible as last year treated a lot of people, Mother Nature has really taken care of us in the past 4 weeks or so. I really enjoy these images. They seem to depict a few isolated moments of hope around home in a time when lineups seem to be drawing a bigger crowd with each passing swell. I hope you find them pleasing to look at as well.
