Well folks, the time has come. The long road to producing our first project here at .hvoide. has finally come to an end. Without further ado, I am stoked to introduce one of my best friends – Sage Sorochman, owner of BIRDNEST STUDIOS.
Since I have known this guy, it has always been apparent he is a left-brainer. Don’t be fooled though – as imaginative as he is, he grinds like a madman. A painter, muralist, graphic designer, and all around fantastic artist, Sage creates fine work across many customs. Having such a close connection with Sage for a majority of my life now made this whole vision come to life rather easily. I wanted to bring something to you that captured his process, as well as presenting a brief introduction into his newer painting works that are described as Modern Minimalistic Abstraction. This painting titled ‘Clyde’ was very impressive to watch first hand, and I hope to have portrayed at least a portion of his talent to you all.
This video is the first project I have personally ever worked on of this manner. I have filmed, and also put together small edits on separate occasions, but never mapped out an idea quite like this. Had a plan & a vision, asked for some help, and created something in which we both feel proud of. I learned quite a bit in the time spent, so a tremendous thank you to Sager & BIRDNEST STUDIOS. I appreciate the time immensely.
